Ameek Batth and
Anya King claimed the lone doubles match-up victory of the afternoon. Batth and King defeated the team of Sandy Allen and Shamsuddin in a 7-5 final.
Noemi Aguirre and
Camille Cunningham challenged in their doubles match, but fell to Tessa Wells and Laura Ocampo in a 6-4 final.
In singles play,
Ameek Batth fell in the first set, but took the second 6-0 to force a third. In the third set of the afternoon for Batth, battled against Sandy Allen, but fell in a 7-5 final. Both
Maria Aspasia Kotsiou and
Natalie White forced their matches to three as well. Aspasia Kotsiou took the first set in her match-up 6-1, before dropping the next two in 6-4 and 6-3 scores. White dropped the first set to Laura Ocampo 6-2, but battled back to win the second 6-4. In the third set, White fell 6-3.
