How It Happened

Southern Wesleyan took the doubles point of the afternoon as Peter Kovats and Enzo Marcheschi defeated Miodrag Popovic and Hanquig Wang in a 6-4 final.  The Warriors went on to win the third doubles event by default.

In singles play, the Warriors took four of the six matches.  Jonas Grasmuck led off with a 7-5 and 6-3 victory over Jofre Tura-Campalans.  Julio Lopes Polesi went on to win the No. 4 singles match.  Lopes Polesi took the first set 6-4, before dropping the second 3-6 to force a third set.  Lopes Polesi maintain strong as he pushed ahead to win the final set 7-6 (10-8).  Southern Wesleyan won the final two singles matches by default.
