Murfreesboro, NC – Southern Wesleyan fell in their first road contest of the season to the Chowan Hawks in a 11-0 final score.

Chowan took the first goal of the game as Harrison Ardron put the ball past
Brandon Trimby in the goal after three minutes of play to give them a 1-0 lead. The Hawks tried to extend their lead, but Trimby and the Warriors defense kept the ball out of the net. Chowan continued to pepper the goal with shots by Aldair Hernandez and Sam Hall. Their attacks paid off as Ardron put in his second goal of the game to give them a 2-0 lead. The Hawks maintained the offensive, but Trimby and the Warriors defense got in the way of their attacks to keep Chowan from furthering their lead. Chowan would not let up as Sam Hall took a pass from Hernandez and headed it into the corner of the nut to give them a 5-0 lead.
