How It Happened

Southern Wesleyan took two of the three doubles matches of the afternoon.  Sarvesh Maria and Jonas Grasmuck defeated Wilfredo Lara and Kornel Kimaszewski 6-1.  They were followed by Joseph Olatunji and Fabian Segreda with a 6-4 victory over Juan Burgos Torres and Diego Rodriguez.

In singles play, Jonas Grasmuck picked up the lone victory for the Warriors as he defeated Thembokwkhe Makhanya 6-4 and 6-3.  Peter Kovats challenged Wilfredo Lara, forcing the match to a third set before falling in a 2-6, 6-3 and 1-6.  Sarvesh Maria and Enzo Marcheschi both challenged in their matches and forced a third set, but fell to the Lions in the end.
 
 
What's Next

Southern Wesleyan will next travel to Tigerville, SC as they take on the North Greenville Crusaders on April 13.  They will remain on the road as they take on the Lees-McRae Bobcats on April 16 and King Tornado on April 17.
