Ameek Batth and
Anya King defeated Olivia Scattini and Valentina Domenicone in a 6-4 final score.
Maria Aspasia Kotsiou and
Natalie White won their doubles match-up against Arina Karbolina and Julieta Lecce in the No. 2 doubles position in a 6-3 final.
In singles play,
Ameek Batth led the Warriors in the No. 1 position as she defeated Scattini in a 6-4 and 6-2 final. Batth was followed by victories by
Maria Aspasia Kotsiou and
Anya King. Aspasia Kotsiou won her sets in 6-3 and 6-4 finals in the No. 2 position. King followed with a win over Domenicone in 7-5 and 6-3 finals for the third singles victory in the match for the Warriors.
What's Next
Southern Wesleyan will remain at home on March 27 as they host the Barton College Bulldogs at 10 a.m. They will then host the Emmanuel College Lions on March 30. Southern Wesleyan will host the Converse Valkyries on April 10 at 11 a.m. The Warriors will then travel for their next three matches as they take on North Greenville, Lees-McRae and King.
