The Lions took the first goal of the game as Mikaele Blakeley sent the ball to the back of the net. Despite the Warriors defensive stepping up to every attack, the Lions distance themselves further with goals by Cian Walder and Will Fraser-Gray to lead 3-0 after sixty-five minutes of play.
