How It Happened

In doubles action, Ameek Batth and Anya King challenged the team of Voloshyaa and Weber before dropping in a 5-7 final.  The Warriors dropped the next two doubles matches as the teams of Maria Aspasia Kotsiou and Natalie White, and Noemi Aguirre and Camille Cunningham both dropped their doubles matches.

In singles play, Ameek Batth picked up the lone victory for the Warriors.  Batth defeated Vooshyna in 6-3 and 6-2 finals.  Both Anya King and Natalie White challenge in their singles matches.  However, neither would walk away with a victory.

 
What's Next

The Warriors will remain on the road on March 20 as they take on the Belmont Abbey Crusaders at 1:30. They will then return to Rev. Leroy C Cox Tennis Complex on March 26 and 27 as they host the Chowan Hawks and Barton Bulldogs.  The Warriors will then take on the Emmanuel Lions on March 30.
