How It Happened
Southern Wesleyan dropped the doubles action on all three courts.
Maria Aspasia Kotsiou and
Natalie White challenged Anna Greer and Katie Robeson in their match-up before they dropped the set 6-3. The doubles partners of
Ameek Batth and
Anya King, and
Noemi Aguirre and
Camille Cunningham also dropped their doubles matches in 6-2 and 6-1 finals respectively.
In singles action,
Ameek Batth claimed the sole victory of the afternoon. Batth took the first set 6-4, before falling in the second 6-2. She went on to win the final singles set 6-4 to take the match. Maria Aspasia Kotsiou challenged Carrigan Blanchard in her singles match-up, forcing it to go to three. Aspasia Kotsiou took the first set before dropping the next two.

The Warriors will next take on the Catawba Indians on March 14 at 2 p.m. They will then continue Conference Carolinas action on the road on March 19 at 2 p.m. as they take on the University of Mount Olive Trojans.
