How It Happened

Ameek Batth battled Anamaria Kiszner in singles play, taking the victory in a 6-2 and 7-5 final.  Southern Wesleyan's Camille Cunningham won the other singles event of the afternoon.  Cunningham took down Holly Tucker in a 6-4 and 6-3 final.  The Warriors dropped the other four singles matches to the Saints.

In doubles play, Camille Cunningham and Natalie White defeated Holly Tucker and Anastasiia Khriopka in a 6-1 final.  Ameek Batth and Maria Kotsiou battled Anamaria Kiszner and Sara Valentini, but the Saints persevered and took the match in a 6-4 final.  Noemi Aguirre and Anya King challenged the Saints, but the team of Sophia Marchetta and Maria Radu defeated them in a 6-3 final.

 
What's Next

Southern Wesleyan will next host the Montreat Cavaliers on February 25 at 2 p.m.  They will remain at home on February 27 as they host both the Piedmont Lions at 10 a.m. and the Young Harris Mountain Lions at 3 p.m.
