Southern Wesleyan took the first points of the third quarter on a layup by Brittany Mack.  However, layups by Shanika Peterkin, Lauren Walker and Jami Tham pushed the Bulldogs lead to twenty-nine points with just over eight minutes remaining.  The Warriors picked up the intensity with baskets by Tristen Berry and Kayla Garrett, but the Bulldogs continued to surge ahead as a three point shot by Payton Sutton gave them a 59-28 point lead.  Berry and Sasha Schoenborn took turns stepping beyond the arc and sinking three point shots, but Barton maintained control of the pace of the game.

A layup by Shanika Peterkin pushed the Bulldogs lead to 79-40 to start the final quarter of the game.  The Warriors rallied though as Kayla Garrett laid the ball up in the paint.  Back-to-back layups by Brooke Henricks cut into Barton's lead to make the score 81-46.  However, Kayla Byrne stepped beyond the arc to regain the Bulldogs thirty-eight point lead.  Despite several free throws, the Warriors fell to the Bulldogs 93-53.
