How It Happened
Set One
Converse took an early lead off kills by Jasmine Finkley, before a kill by Amber Bass put Southern Wesleyan on the board.  The Valkyries continued to push ahead with kills by Maddie Mount and Kiara Cannon.  Southern Wesleyan put down kills by Bass and Riley Young, but Converse went on to win the first set 25-10.

Set Two
The Warriors took the first point of the set on a assisted block by Riley Young and Trinity Eichman, but the Valkyries countered with kills by Anna Rabon and Jasmine Finkley to give Converse a lead.  Despite trailing the Valkyries, the Warriors continued to fight back with kills by Kailey Demorest and Amber Bass.  Converse did not let up their attacks as Finkley put down more kills to allow the Valkyries to push their lead further.  Both Young and Emily Ellis delivered kills, but Converse went on to win 25-8.

Set Three
Southern Wesleyan took the lead in the third set on attack errors by the Valkyries.  Back-to-back kills by Emily Ellis allowed the Warriors to push their lead further, however aces by Anna Rabon allowed the Valkyries to counter Southern Wesleyan's attacks.  An ace by Cara Martin and a block by Riley Young kept the Warriors and Valkyries locked in a tight battle.  The Valkyries did not let up as Jasmine Finkley laid down several kills to push Converse ahead.  Despite kills by Emily Ellis, Southern Wesleyan dropped the final set 25-18.
