Clemson, SC – Southern Wesleyan competed in the first track and field event of the season at the Orange & Purple Elite on Saturday with several top finishes.

Women's Results
3000 Meter Run: Macey Morgan led the Warriors in the 3000 Meters, taking fourth place with a time of 11:07.11.  She was followed by teammate Abbey Frock in sixth with a time of 11:41.45.  Taylor Broadwell wrapped up the field for the Warriors, taking seventh place with a time of 11:51.39.
 
Men's Results
3000 Meter Run: Southern Wesleyan was led by junior Peyton Shelton in the Men's 3000 Meter Run.  Shelton took sixth with a time of 9:20.22.  He was followed by Casey Frock in eighth with a time of 10:30.72.
 
What's Next
Southern Wesleyan will next compete in the Clemson Invite on January 15 in Clemson, SC and the Gamecock Opener on January 16 in Columbia, SC.  They will then take part in the Carolina Challenge on January 23.
