Coker Defeats Southern Wesleyan

Hartsville, SC – Southern Wesleyan fell on Friday afternoon to Coker College in a 9-0 final.

How It Happened

Southern Wesleyan fell in all nine sets against the Coker Cobras.  In doubles action, Jennifer Ball and Alexia Rodriguez threatened, but fell 8-6 to the Cobras team of Jennifer Ruetten and Julia Sorrells.  In singles action, Alexia Rodriguez challenged to force a third set, but she could not claim the win.

 

What's Next

Southern Wesleyan will open up Conference Carolinas action against the Erskine College Flying Fleet on February 24 at 10:30 a.m.  They will then travel to Newberry on February 26 to take on the Wolves.
