Coach Jernigan Says…
"Really proud of the effort the girls gave today. We had some very difficult conditions with the wind and we were able to block that out and play our style. Very happy for Cati in getting her first college win with the team today. From the beginning of the doubles we were the aggressors and we jumped on them early. We still have to serve and return better but we won 70% of the points once we got by the first ball exchange. In singles play, we still have to be tougher and not give points away. We are struggling a bit with our net clearance so we need to focus more on that in practice. As a whole very proud of this team and how they are coming together as a family."
