MOUNT OLIVE, N.C.- Southern Wesleyan's women's tennis team fell 6-3 to Mount Olive.

The Warriors (6-12, 4-5 CC) went 3-3 in singles play and 0-3 in doubles play.

In singles competition, Stella Di Michele defeated Jennifer Ball 6-3, 6-1 at the No. 1, Aimee Dorley defeated Alejandra Hernandez 8-5 at the No. 2, Paulina Delgado defeated Samantha Powell 6-0, 6-0 at the No. 3, Tadala Kandulu defeated Mulan Bartz 8-3 at the No. 4, Elizabeth Mulkey defeated Mariana Gamboa 6-4, 6-3 at the No. 5, and Nicole La Chappelle won at the No. 6 due to a default by Southern Wesleyan.

In doubles competition, Michele/Hernandez defeated Dorley/Powell 8-1 at the No. 1, Delgado/Byrd defeated Ball/Kandulu 8-2 at the No. 2, and Bartz/Chappelle won at the No. 3 due to a default by Southern Wesleyan.

Southern Wesleyan will next host Converse April 19 at 2 p.m.
