PENDLETON, S.C.- Southern Wesleyan's women's tennis team defeated King 9-0 to pick up their first conference win of the season.
The Warriors (2-4) went 6-0 in singles play and 3-0 in doubles play.
In singles competition, Aimee Dorley defeated Nia Gilliam 6-0, 6-4 at the No. 1, Jennifer Ball defeated Katya Cerny 7-5, 6-3 at the No. 2, Chyna Jones defeated Ashley Salazar 6-1, 6-1 at the No. 3, Tadala Kandulu defeated Marianne Hull 8-2 at the No. 4, Samantha Powell defeated Alyssa Salazar 6-3, 6-3 at the No. 5, and Elizabeth Mulkey defeated Haley Maloney 8-4 at the No. 6.
In doubles competition, Dorley/Jones defeated Cerny/Salazar 8-3 at the No. 1, Powell/Ball defeated Maloney/Hull 8-2 at the No. 2, and Kandulu/Mulkey defeated Salazar/Gilliam 8-3 at the No. 3.
Southern Wesleyan next travels to North Georgia Feb. 25 at 2 p.m.
