PENDLETON, S.C.- Southern Wesleyan's women's tennis team fell 8-1 to Queens.
The Warriors (0-3) went 1-5 in singles play and 0-3 in doubles play.
In singles competition, Tadala Kandulu defeated Caroline Nielsen 6-0, 6-0 at the No. 4. Carlotta Nassi defeated Aimee Dorley 3-1 at the No. 1, Marta Gonzalez defeated Jennifer Ball 4-2 at the No. 2, Melissa Laing defeated Chyna Jones 8-3 at the No. 3, Claire Hamilton defeated Samantha Powell 8-4 at the No. 5, and Hannah Lehfeldt defeated Elizabeth Mulkey 6-1, 6-0 at the No. 6.
In doubles competition, Nassi/Laing defeated Dorley/Jones 8-2 at the No. 1, Gonzalez/Nielsen defeated Powell/Ball 8-0 at the No. 2, and Hamilton/Lehfeldt defeated Kandulu/Mulkey 8-2 at the No. 3.
Southern Wesleyan next hosts Benedict Feb. 19 at 2 p.m.
