Warriors Fall to Falcons

MISENHEIMER, N.C.- Four players scored in double-digits in Southern Wesleyan's 91-82 loss to Pfeiffer.

Kenny Holmes scored 20 points, dished out four assists, and grabbed three rebounds. Colton Ayers scored a career-high 18 points and dished out four assists. Darius Sharpe scored 16 points and pulled in three rebounds. Jamaral Kearse scored 13 points and dished out five assists.

The Falcons (10-12, 6-8 CC) started the game with a 31-9 run to lead by 22 points. The Warriors (2-22, 1-15 CC) cut the deficit to 16 points with a 27-21 run to close out the first half. Southern Wesleyan was able to cut the lead to six points with 7:30 left in the game, but they were outscored 14-11 the rest of the way to seal the victory for Pfeiffer.

Southern Wesleyan will next host Barton Feb. 17 at 7:30 p.m.
