GAINESVILLE, Ga. – Southern Wesleyan women's tennis picked up their first-ever win over the weekend, playing three matches in SSAC pod play at Brenau University.  The Warriors defeated Bethel (Tenn.) 5-4 to earn their first win in program history.

The Warriors also met up with No. 19 William Carey and Martin Methodist, dropping both of those contests.  SWU was blanked by William Carey 9-0 and lost to MMC 7-2.

SWU will be in action at home (Nettles Park) on April 12 against Pfeiffer.
