In April of 2025, Shedd stood in as coach for the 2025 Baseball Developmental Championship.  He helped coach the Warriors to the Championship Title.  Under his guidance the Warriors defeated Young Harris 7-4 in the semifinals and then took down Erskine 13-6 in the championship.

Shedd attended Truett McConnell University where he graduated in 2024 with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Sports Management.  A member of the Bears Golf team, Shedd was a key member of the team as he earned First Team All-Conference honors in 2024 and Second Team All-Conference honors in 2023.  He went on to be recognized as a two time PING NAIA All-American.

At the NAIA National Championship, he finished in the top five and set a school record for the best finish in the tournament in Bears history, earning a spot on the NAIA Men's Golf National Championship All-Tournament team in the process.  During his time at Truett McConnell, the Bears were two-time Conference Tournament Team Champions.

He has been actively involved with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and has participated in mission trips to Costa Rica. Additionally, Shedd has engaged in numerous local service projects and volunteer efforts, all aimed at making a positive impact on the communities around him.
