Holly Richardson joined the Southern Wesleyan Athletics team in the fall of 2020 as the Warriors Gameday Operations and Facilities Manager.  Prior to that she served as the Graduate Assistant for Sports Information and a volunteer assistant volleyball coach for the Warriors.

Richardson, who graduated from Southern Wesleyan in December of 2018, has been working alongside of the Warriors for several years.  Her passion for sports lead her to intern in sports information during her last two years of college.  During her internship, she learned how to handle the statistical programs and press releases for basketball and softball.  After her graduation, Richardson joined the Athletics staff as the Graduate Assistant for Sports Information while completing grad school through Southern Wesleyan.  During her tenure in Sports Information, she assisted in keeping statistics, running the game day operations at events, writing press releases and assisting in social media content creation.

Richardson is a Sumter, SC native who studied Recreation and Sports Management and was a member of the women’s volleyball team during her time as a student at Southern Wesleyan. Holly enjoys all sports and has fell in love with working in college athletics after being an intern in the athletic department at SWU for 2 years.  While interning for the sports information department, she worked primarily with basketball and softball and assisted with statistics and press releases for the respected sports.
