• Scored 69 points while posting a 40.0% field goal percentage
• Pulled down 88 rebounds and recorded 14 blocks
• Finished the season with 20 assists and 14 steals

What are your goals for the upcoming season? Improve fundamental skills as well as be consistent in my performance. 

Why did you choose SWU? It is an all-around great school and is close to home. I also liked the size of the campus, as well as it being a Christian based university. 

What is your favorite thing about SWU? How personal all the professors are. They constantly seek to get to know you better and be there for you. 

Why is your sport important to you? This sport has taught me teamwork, discipline, and other valuable lessons that can be applied to everyday life. I also have fun every time I get the chance to play. 

Who is your greatest influence in life? Why? My mother, because she has always taught me to never give up and to always stand up for myself. I look up to her in all aspects of life. 

Where do you want to be in 5 years? I hope to see myself with a well paying job and doing something related to business. 

Do you have a nickname? What is it? Yes, D

How did you get your nickname? It's the first letter in "Deyana" so it's just stuck with me through the years
