Brianna McRae joined the Southern Wesleyan University softball program in the summer of 2023, bringing a wealth of experience as a former standout student-athlete. She played softball at North Greenville University for five years, excelling as both a catcher and first baseman. During her career, Brianna earned numerous accolades, including being named a three-time All-Conference First Team player in three different positions: Designated Player (junior year), Catcher (senior year), and First Base (fifth year). She was also a two-time All-Conference Carolinas Tournament player and finished her NGU career with an impressive .379 batting average, a .733 slugging percentage, and a .505 on-base percentage. Brianna capped her collegiate playing career by setting the NGU career home run record with 41.

In addition to her athletic achievements, Brianna graduated from NGU with a Bachelor of Science in Health Science, concentrating in Exercise Science. She is now pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Southern Wesleyan University while contributing her expertise and passion for the game to the SWU softball program.
