What are your goals for the upcoming season?Â
"My goals for this upcoming season is for our team to have a winning season and to get far in the season."
Why did you choose SWU?Â
"I chose SWU for the Forensic Science Program as well as for the softball program, and because it is much closer to home."
What is your favorite thing about SWU?Â
"My favorite thing about SWU are my friends that I have made here, and being a part of the Forensic Department."Â
Why is your sport important to you?Â
"Softball is important to me because I have always been drawn to it, and it has helped me get through rough times. If I ever needed to just get away and reboot, I was always able to count on softball. It had been my favorite thing I have ever done and been a part of. It has taken me very many places and brought me many accomplishments in life. It teaches one about teamwork, discipline, and devotion to one another."
Who is your greatest influence in life? Why?Â
"My greatest influences in life are my parents. They both have shown and taught me so many things about life and how hard it can be. Even when everything feels like it is going against you, you have the power to work harder and get through it. I would do anything to be half of the people that they are."
Where do you want to be in 5 years?Â
"I want to be working for the GBI as a Forensic Biologist."
Do you have a nickname? What is it?Â
"Schriener or Bee."
How did you get your nickname?Â
"People started calling me by my last name due to having a common first name, but it has become what my teachers and coaches frequently call me by. Bee is a nickname that my parents have always called me by, and then my coaches on former teams started picking up on and calling me as well."
Who is your favorite athlete?Â
"Tiare Jennings."
What is your favorite food?Â
"Sushi."
