What are your goals for the upcoming season?Â
"I want to win conference player of the year. I want our team to win the conference championship, and I want to break a school record this season."
Why did you choose SWU?Â
"I chose SWU because of the small campus, and because of what the softball coaches are trying to build in the softball program. SWU has the major that I am wanting to pursue, and I felt cared for the second that I came onto the campus."
What is your favorite thing about SWU?Â
"My favorite thing about SWU is that I am able to be personal with my professors which helps me to perform better in class, and I am not just a number in a class to my professors. They care whether or not I succeed in a class."
Why is your sport important to you?Â
"My sport is important to me because it has taught me how to work hard to reach my goals as well as how to be a team player. Most of my values have come from playing this sport. My most fond memories come from playing softball with my teammates, and I could not imagine my life with softball not a part of it."Â
Who is your greatest influence in life? Why?Â
"My greatest influence in life would be my dad. He is one of the most important people in my life, and I look to him for advice on many different things. He has helped to shape me into the person I am today and influences almost all of the decisions that I make."
Where do you want to be in 5 years?Â
"In five years, I want to be teaching as a Physical Education teacher at a high school, and I want to be the head coach of a high school softball team as well. I want to also have completed my master's degree by this time."
Who is your favorite athlete?Â
"Bailey Hemphill."
What is your favorite food?Â
"Pizza."
