  • Received All-Region honors as a catcher in 2022 and 2024
  • Team appeared in the State playoffs in 2022 and 2024
  • Batted .320 throughout his high school career

  • Born February 22, 2007 to Andrew and Andrea Pettett
  • His cousin, Todd Hollandsworth, played baseball with the Miami Marlins from 1995-2006
  • Majoring in business with a concentration in economics and finance
  • Minoring in accounting
What are your goals for the upcoming season? Make the playoffs and win freshman honors

Why did you choose SWU? Great coaching and teammates, close to home and beautiful campus

What is your favorite thing about SWU? The friendly community and people here

Why is your sport important to you? I grew up playing and watching baseball and have fallen in love with it

Who is your greatest influence in life? Why? My parents because I look up to them and Jesus Crhist because he is my Savior

Where do you want to be in five years? Playing baseball at the next level

Do you have a nickname? What is it and how did you get it? The Rooster.  Because people say I look like Chicken Joe
