• His sister, Kassie Swink, played volleyball and softball at Cleavland Community College

What are your goals for the upcoming season? 
"Make pitcher of the week for the conference, as well as the first, second, or third conference team."

Why did you choose SWU? 
"It offered me two more years to keep playing the game I love with the conservative views I believe in. As well as the way the environment and energy is here I liked it."

What is your favorite thing about SWU? 
"Getting to play baseball everyday."

Why is your sport important to you? 
"It's my dream to play baseball as long as I can so it's very important to me because since I was a kid playing baseball at a high level has always been my dream and I'm not giving up on my dream like 99% of people so I'm today's world."

Who is your greatest influence in life? Why? 
"I'd have to say my mom. She really shows me how you're suppose to provide for your family and give things to your kids that you had growing up and more. This is what a role model should do because if it looks like a person is giving 100% all the time they're probably giving 110%."

Where do you want to be in 5 years? 
"In the farm system or on my way to a semi-professional team."

"Swinky."

"My last name."

"Robinson Cano."
