How It Happened

The Warriors went on the offensive within the first minute of the game as Leonardo Flores sent the ball just over the net.  The Pacers answered with a shot by Kenny Kwizera, but the Warriors defense was able to block his shot.  Shots by Damian Rogers were also blocked by the back line.  Southern Wesleyan continued to challenge as a foul in the box allowed Matias Garnier to earn a penalty kick.  Garnier got the ball into the back of the net to put the Warriors ahead.  Just a couple minutes later, Juan Daniel Rosaels passed the ball up the field to Emilio Cordero.  Cordero broke away from the pack and sent the ball into the net to extend the Warriors lead to 2-0.

The Pacers went on the offensive as a foul just outside of the box allowed them to line up for a free kick.  However, their shot went right into the Warriors defensive wall shielding the goal.  Frankie Martinez headed the ball toward the net, but his attack went just wide.  As the Warriors were getting a free kick, another penalty in the box sent Leonardo Flores to the penalty spot.  Flores got the ball right past the diving Felipe Mattos to extend the Warriors lead to 3-0.  With just over ten minutes left in the game, Michael Boyle sent the ball in off a corner kick.  Matias Garnier headed the ball directly into the net to give the Warriors a 4-0 goal victory.
