Anderson, SC – Southern Wesleyan fell to the Anderson Trojans on Tuesday evening in a 14-1 final score.
The Warriors had four hits in the loss. Luke Taylor tripled in the game. Harrison Garrett had the lone RBI of the game.
Kamden Mongan started the midweek contest on the mound and pitched 1.2 innings while striking out one batter. Coleman Wylie, Cayden Towell, Zachary Kim and Aidan Cunningham all came in to pitch in relief. Wylie picked up the other strikeout of the game.

How It Happened
The Trojans were the first on the board in the midweek game as several multi-base hits allowed them to bring five runs in to score in the second inning.
Southern Wesleyan challenged in the top of the third. Luke Taylor led off the inning by drilling the ball down the right field line for a triple. Taylor came in to score as Harrison Garrett hit a single into right field.
Anderson would not back down as they brought more runs in during the fourth, fifth and sixth innings to win the game in a 14-1 final.
What's Next
Southern Wesleyan will host the Emmanuel Lions on April 18-19. The Warriors will host their annual Military Appreciation Day celebration prior to the first pitch on April 19. Pre-game ceremonies are set to begin at 12:30pm. The Warriors will then travel over to Gaffney, SC to take on the Limestone Saints on April 23.
