Central, SC – Southern Wesleyan fell to the Georgia College Bobcats on Tuesday afternoon in a 12-2 final score.
The Warriors had four hits in the loss to the Bobcats. Nolan Evatt picked up the lone extra base hit of the day as he doubled. Griffin Pickhardt walked once. Southern Wesleyan turned one double play in the game.
Kamden Mongan started the game on the mound and pitched four innings while striking out three batters. Jaylen Morgan, Cayden Towell and Matthew White all came in to pitch in relief. Morgan struck out two and White had one strikeout

How It Happened
The Bobcats brought the first run of the game in the first inning as a Hamacher's single allowed Wuerth to come in to score. They brought their second run of the game in off a wild pitch in the third inning.
Southern Wesleyan countered in the bottom of the third. With one out, Gavin Mitchell got an infield single. Nolan Evatt doubled to left center field to allow Mitchell to advance to third base. An error in the infield brought Mitchell in to score and allowed Evatt to advance to third. Josh Long followed with a single to center field to bring Evatt in to tie the game up 2-2.
Georgia College would not relent as they brought runs in to score in the fourth, fifth and seventh innings to win the game in a 12-2 final.
What's Next
The Warriors will hit the road to Wingate, NC on April 4-5 to take the Wingate Bulldogs. They will remain on the road on April 8 as they take on the Mars Hill Lions in non-conference action. Southern Wesleyan will travel to Bristol, TN to take on the King Tornado on April 11-12.
