Franklin Springs, GA – Southern Wesleyan fell in both games in the double header against the Emmanuel Lions on Saturday. The Warriors dropped game one 5-1 before falling 1-0 in game two.
The Warriors picked up five hits in game two. Amberly Way had the lone RBI of the game as she hit her 11th home run of the season. Olivia Haag pitched a complete game and struck out six batters over six innings.
Southern Wesleyan was held hitless in the second game of the day. Chloe Smith pitched a complete game and struck out two batters.

How It Happened
Game One
The Lions brought four runs in to score in the bottom of the second inning off an error by the Warriors and then a single by Gibson.
Amberly Way led off the fourth inning for the Warriors and sent the first pitch she saw over the left center field wall for a solo home run.
However, Emmanuel scored once more in the bottom of the sixth inning to take the game 5-1.
Game Two
Emmanuel shut the Warriors down in game two. The Lions went on to bring one run in to score off a single by Garrett in the third to give them a 1-0 run victory.
What's Next
Southern Wesleyan will remain on the road on March 18 as they travel to Due West, SC to take on the Erskine Flying Fleet. They will then return to Varsity Field on March 22 as they host the Emmanuel Lions in a double header beginning at 2pm. The Warriors will host the Augusta Jaguars on March 25.
