How It Happened

The Tornado countered in the bottom of the first inning to tie the game up.

The lead was short lived as King brought two more runs in to score in the bottom of the third inning to allow the Tornado to tie the game up 3-3.  They went on to take the lead in the bottom of the fourth inning on a sacrifice fly out by Hilliard to put them ahead by one run.  The Tornado pushed further ahead in the bottom of the fifth and sixth innings to give them an 8-3 run advantage.

The Warriors countered in the top of the seventh inning.  Josh Asbill led off the inning with a single to right field.  Asbill then advanced to second on a passed ball.  With one out, Zach O'Malley singled to allow Asbill to move to third base.  O'Malley then stole second base to put both runners in scoring position.  Ty King Richards ground out to third base to allow Asbill to come in to score to put the Warriors down 8-4.
