How It Happened
The Warriors dropped the doubles point of the match after dropping two of the three doubles match-ups of the afternoon. The team of
Parker Willis and
Fabian Segreda picked up the lone doubles victory for the Warriors as they defeated Richard Ngwarwi and Jason Chigaazira 6-1.
In singles play, Southern Wesleyan claimed three singles victories. The first victory came in the number three singles position. Freshman
Parker Willis defeated Divgurjot Singh 6-3, 4-6 and 6-3.
Julio Lopes Polesi took his singles match-up in a 6-2 and 6-4 victory.
Dylan Johns was the last Warrior to claim a victory as he defeated Jaylon Bokknight 6-0, 6-7(0-5) and 10-7(1-0).
What's Next
The Warriors will next travel to Mars Hill, NC to take on the Mars Hill Lions on Febraury 19 at 1 p.m. They will return to Rev Leroy C Cox Tennis Complex on February 21 at 1:30 to host the Limestone Saints. Southern Wesleyan will then host the Georgia College Bobcats on February 25 at 2 p.m.
