Sumter, SC – Southern Wesleyan fell in the Conference Carolinas quarterfinals on Friday afternoon to the Barton Bulldogs in a 4-3 final.

How It Happened
The Warriors took one of the three doubles matches of the afternoon.
Peter Kovats and
Enzo Marcheschi took the lone victory in doubles play as they defeated Savio and Nordberg in a 5-3 final.
Fabian Segreda and
Joseph Olatunji challenged in their doubles match, but fell to Gerbino and Camelo in a 4-6 final.
In singles play, the Warriors took three of the six singles matches.
Jonas Grasmuck defeated Agudelo 6-2 and 7-6 (10) to give the Warriors their first singles match of the evening.
Sarvesh Maria defeated Nordberg in a 6-2 and 6-3. With the Warriors leading the match 2-1,
Enzo Marcheschi helped push the lead further ahead. After dropping the first set 2-6, Marcheschi came back to defeat Camelo 6-4 and 6-4. Both
Peter Kovats and
Julio Lopes Polesi took their matches to three, but neither ended up on top as the Bulldogs pushed ahead to win three singles matches to walk away with the victory.
