Anya King challenged, but fell to Emma Bentz and Marie Guillaume in a 6-4 final.
Natalie White and
Maria Aspasia Kotsiou dropped their match to the Flying Fleet duo of Luize Valtere and Faith Wright in a 6-2 final. In the final slot for the Warriors the team of
Noemi Aguirre and
Camille Cunningham were unable to defeat the team of Czarina Aguirre and Lana Vukovic as they fell 6-1.
Southern Wesleyan went 5-1 in singles to pick up the sole victory on Saturday.
Ameek Batth fell 6-0 and 6-0 to Emma Bentz and she was followed by Maria Kotsiou who also fell 6-0 and 6-3 to Marie Guillaume. At No. 3
Anya King pressured but fell in 6-3 and 6-3 final scores to Luize Valtere of Erskine.
Noemi Aguirre would secure the only win for the Warriors as she defeated Faith Wright in 7-5 and 6-2 final scores. At No. 5
Natalie White fell 6-4 and 6-4 to Czarina Aguirre and
Camille Cunningham fell 6-1 and 6-0 at No. 6.
What's Next
Southern Wesleyan will host the USC Sumter Fireants on March 9 at 3 p.m. They will then host the Anderson Trojans on March 11 and the Catawba Indians on March 14 before returning to Conference Carolinas play on March 19 as they travel to take on the University of Mount Olive at 2 p.m.
