Central, SC – Southern Wesleyan dropped the final match-up before entering Conference Carolinas action on Thursday as they fell to the Anderson Trojans in a 4-3 final.

How It Happened
The Warriors took two of the doubles matches against the Trojans to give them the doubles point.
Joseph Olatunji and
Fabian Segreda claimed the first doubles match for the Warriors. Olatunji and Segreda defeated Thomas Smalley and Simon Wilson in a 6-4 final.
Jonas Grasmuck and
Sarvesh Maria battled against Juan Cruz Moncada and Thomas Pudney in their doubles match, finally defeating them in a 7-6 final.
Southern Wesleyan took two victories in the singles match-ups in the loss to Anderson.
Jonas Grasmuck fell in the first set to Juan Cruz Moncada 6-2, before taking the next two 6-1 and 6-3 to claim the first victory for the Warriors.
Enzo Marcheschi faced Lorenzo Martinetti in his singles match, defeating him in 6-3 final scores for the Warriors second singles win of the day.
Peter Kovats challenged Adam Kush in his match, dropping the first 7-5 before winning the second 6-4 to force a third. In the third, Kovats fell 6-7 to give Kush the victory.
What's Next
Southern Wesleyan will open up Conference Carolinas play on March 19 as they travel to Mount Olive, NC to take on the Trojans of the University of Mount Olive at 2 p.m. They will remain on the road on March 20 as they travel to Belmont, NC to take on the Belmont Abbey Crusaders. The Warriors will then host the Chowan Hawks and Barton Bulldogs at the Rev Leroy C Cox Tennis Complex in Central, SC on March 26 and 27.
