Southern Wesleyan recorded 10 hits with three posting two hits during the game. Four Warriors doubled during the game.
Ty King Richards led the team with two of the four RBIs.
Sawyer Price hit a sacrifice fly during the game.
Vinny Adams started on the mound for the Warriors. Adams pitched five innings while striking out three batters and only walking one. Aiden Evans,

How It Happened
Southern Wesleyan took the first run of the game.
Hunter Garlington reached first after being hit by a pitch. With Garlington at first,
Angelo Pahila reached on a fielder's choice. Garlington advanced to second on the play as the Tornado shortstop made an error to put two on with only one out.
Ty King Richards singled to center field to bring Garlington home and put the Warriors ahead 1-0.
The Warriors struck again in the bottom of the fifth inning.
Hunter Garlington hit a double to left field. With a runner in scoring position with two out, Garlington advanced to third on a passed ball.
Ty King Richards singled once more to bring Garlington in for the second time during the game.
King countered in the top of the sixth inning. With two out, an error allowed Carnicella to reach first base and bring Graham across home plate to put the Tornado behind the Warriors 2-1.
The Warriors extended their lead in the bottom of the sixth inning.
Josh Galloway led off the inning with a single to left field. With one on and no one out,
Tanner Glass doubled to left center to advance Galloway to third.
Sawyer Price hit a sacrifice fly to right field to bring Galloway home. With two out,
Tyler Rogers singled through the right side to bring Glass home and put Southern Wesleyan ahead 4-1.
The Tornado took the lead in the top of the seventh inning, plating six runs to take a 7-4 run advantage. King continued to take control of the bases, scoring five more runs in the top of the eighth to win the game 12-4.
What's Next
Southern Wesleyan will continue the four game series against the King Tornado on February 20-21. They will then host the University of Mount Olive Trojans on February 26 and 27. Southern Wesleyan will then travel to Belmont, NC to take on the Belmont Abbey Crusaders on March 5-6.
