The Warriors collected 15 kills in the loss to the Crusaders with
Amber Bass leading the team with five.
Ashley Sexton had 13 of the 15 assists. Southern Wesleyan had 22 digs with
Addison Boggs leading the team with six. She was followed by
Jesse Soles and
Amber Bass with five. Southern Wesleyan collected eight blocks during the loss.

How It Happened
Set One
The Crusaders took the first points of the first set on kills by Kasie Thomas and Kelli Davis. The Warriors countered with a kill by
Jesse Soles and blocks by
Trinity Eichman and
Riley Young to keep them within striking distance. North Greenville struck again with kills by Paige Beisecker. Despite a kill by
Amber Bass, the Warriors dropped the first set 25-6.
Set Two
North Greenville took an early lead with an ace by Ashlyn Conner and kill by Kelli Davis. A kill by
Riley Young put the Warriors within one of the Crusaders. Paige Beisecker allowed North Greenville to extend their lead over Southern Wesleyan with several kills. The Warriors chipped away at the Crusaders lead with kills by
Amber Bass and
Ashlyn Holford. Young and Bass blocked the Crusaders attacks, however North Greenville pushed ahead to win the second set 25-12.
Set Three
A kill by Chandler Morrell allowed the Crusaders to take the lead, but an assisted block by
Emily Ellis and
Ashlyn Holford allowed Southern Wesleyan to tie the final set up. North Greenville distanced themselves from the Warriors with kills by Abigail Durham and Erin Allen. The Crusaders continued to attack, but blocks by
Riley Young,
Amber Bass, Ellis and Holford allowed the Warriors to stun North Greenville's attacks. Despite kills by Bass, Holford and Ellis, the Warriors fell to the Crusaders 25-17.
What's Next
Southern Wesleyan will return home on October 23 as they host the King Tornado at 2 p.m. They will then travel to Spartanburg, SC on October 28 to take on the Converse Valkyries at 6 p.m. The Warriors will remain on the road on November 2 as they take on the Erskine Flying Fleet.
