Southern Wesleyan dropped the conference opener to Limestone tonight 3-0.  The Warriors fall to 2-6 overall and 0-1 on the young season.

Limestone jumped out to a 25-19 win in the opening game and then followed suit, winning 25-16 and 25-20.  Jenna Mummert led Limestone with 12 kills on the night, while SWU was led by Sarah Hughey with seven and Paige O'Connor with six.  Annika Jones had 17 assists in the loss. Milica Stamenic posted 16 digs for SWU.

"The team played tough tonight," commented head coach Julia Reininga.  She added, "we are still learning how to play complete matches as a team.  The conference season is young so we will continue to work to get better each day."

SWU will get back on the court this Friday as they travel to Belmont Abbey.
