CENTRAL, S.C. – Three players scored in double-digits for Southern Wesleyan in its 91-75 loss to Converse.

Noelle van Zadelhoff posted a double-double with 15 points and ten rebounds. She also blocked three shots. Taylor Vinson scored 15 points, grabbed four rebounds, and dished out four assists. Shelby Gilbert also scored 15 points and she pulled in three rebounds.

The Valkyries (4-14, 3-11 CC) shot 45.7 percent from the field and 62.5 percent from the three-point line in the first half as they led 19 at halftime. The Warriors (4-16, 1-13 CC) were able to cut the lead to 11 points with 6:07 left in the game, but that would be the closest they would get as they were outscored 23-18 the rest of the way by Converse to close out the game.

Southern Wesleyan next hosts Emmanuel Feb. 6 at 2 p.m.
