Box Score Sarah Hughey and Paige O'Connor combine for 17 kills in the loss to the Flying Fleet.
The Warriors started strong, but could not gain the victory in the first set of the afternoon. While they tried to gain a solid ground, the Flying Fleet took the second set 25-19. Taking their 2-0 lead in stride, the Flying Fleet struck hard in the third set beating the Warriors 25-14.
Annika Jones contributed with 22 assists, and Milicia Stamenic and Jones combined for 20 in the loss to the Flying Fleet. The 3-0 loss makes the Warriors record come to 10-9 and 8-3 in Conference Carolinas. The Erskine College Flying Fleet become 13-8 and 10-2.
The Warriors will next travel on October 28 to Emmanuel College to take on the Lions at 7 p.m. They will travel again on Saturday, October 29 where they will take on the Flying Fleet at Erskine College. The Warriors will return home to face Converse on November 1.
