Box Score Katie Anderson and Paige O'Connor combined for 30 kills as Southern Wesleyan defeated King in Conference Carolinas volleyball.
The 3-1 win over King allowed the Warriors to win their fourth consecutive match. After starting the season off at 2-7, SWU has reeled off the four wins in Conference Carolinas to boost their record to 6-7 overall and 4-2 in the conference.
King won the first set 25-20 before SWU rallied for the win in style, including the fourth set 25-14.
"I am really proud of the team and how they are growing together," stated head coach Julia Reininga. She added, "this was a big conference road win. It will be nice to be back playing in historic Tysinger very soon."
Annika Jones compiled 42 assists in the win for Southern Wesleyan and Milicia Stemenic contributed 16 digs.
SWU travels to Converse College on October 4 for yet another away match. They will be back home for five consecutive matches after Converse.
