BANNER ELK, N.C.‑ Three players scored in double-digits in Southern Wesleyan's 83-79 loss to Lees-McRae.

Taylor Vinson scored 15 points, grabbed eight rebounds, and dished out three assists. Tomi Sanchez scored 13 points, pulled in six rebounds, and had three assists. Chelsie Waters scored ten points, dished out two assists, and had four steals.

The Bobcats (6-13, 5-7 CC) started the game off strong and opened up a 17-point lead after the first quarter. The Warriors (4-14, 1-11 CC) cut the deficit to 13 by the end of the third quarter. Southern Wesleyan went on a 21-9 run to cut the lead to one point with 1:16 left, but Lees-McRae made four free throws down the stretch to seal the victory.
