Kenny Holmes scored 21 points, grabbed six rebounds, and dished out three assists. Jemiah Wimphrie posted a double-double with 18 points and ten rebounds. Darius Sharpe scored 14 points and pulled in six rebounds. De'Quan Weldon scored 12 points, grabbed three rebounds, and had two assists.
The Bobcats (12-9, 8-3 CC) opened up the game with a 42-21 run to lead by 21 at the 7:04 mark of the first half. They extended their lead to 22 with an 18-17 run to close out the half. The Warriors (2-18, 1-11 CC) shot 40.6 percent from the field in the first half.
Southern Wesleyan cut the lead to ten points with 1:28 left in the second half. They cut the lead to six points on a three-pointer by Jamaral Kearse with 19 seconds remaining. Lees-McRae added a free throw with fifteen seconds left to clinch the victory.
The Warriors next travel to King Jan. 30 at 2 p.m.
