CENTRAL, S.C.‑ Southern Wesleyan shot 42.1 percent from the field and 30.8 percent from the three-point line in its 76-62 loss to Limestone.

Justice McCullough led the Warriors (1-10, 0-4 CC) with 12 points. He also pulled in six rebounds and had one steal. DJ Dobson scored ten points and grabbed three rebounds. Colton Ayers scored seven points, dished out five assists, and had one steal.

The Saints (2-8, 1-3 CC) started the game with a 10-4 run to establish an early six point lead. Southern Wesleyan re-took the lead with a 12-5 run. Limestone closed out the half with a 20-17 run to give them a two-point lead at halftime.

The Warriors created a five-point advantage with a started the second half with a 15-8 run to start the second half. The Saints re-took the lead with five minutes remaining and never surrendered it the rest of the way as they outscored Southern Wesleyan 19-8.

The Warriors travel to Francis Marion for their last game before Christmas. They play them Dec. 15 at 7 p.m.
