Box Score GAFFNEY, S.C. – Southern Wesleyan men's basketball lost to Limestone 95-70 on Wednesday night.
The Warriors (4-3) shot 37-percent from the floor and never led in the contest while the Saints (3-2) shot 56-percent. Cameron Solomon led SWU with 19 points on 6-of-16 shooting. He made all five free throw attempts. Kenny Holmes and Terrance Hutchins added 12 points apiece.
The Warriors trailed by just five as the first half was coming to an end but a quick 5-0 run from the Saints pushed the margin back to 10. Limestone opened the second half on a 16-6 run to push the lead out to 20 where it would stay most of the second half. PJ Foster led all players with 25 points and Shaq Dance added 21 as all five starters scored in double figures.
Limestone outrebounded the Warriors 38-34. Mike Lieberman pulled down seven boards for the Warriors.
SWU will return to SSAC action on Friday and Saturday as they travel to Blue Mountain and Martin Methodist.
