Bristol, TN – Southern Wesleyan is sitting in second place after the first round of play at the King Invitational, just one stroke behind the leading North Greenville Crusaders.

How It Happened
Jesse Dalton led the whole field in the tournament after the first round, hitting a first round score of 75. She was followed by teammate Emily Anderson. Anderson hit a first round score of 80 to put her in a tie for ninth place.
Two strokes behind Anderson, Emileigh Swords finished the first round with a score of 82 to put her in a tie for 11th place. She was followed by Kaylia McIntyre. McIntyre shot a first round score of 84 to put her in a tie for 14th place. Tatiana Tait wrapped up the field for the Warriors, shooting a 90 to put her in a tie for 30th place.
Southern Wesleyan will conclude the King Invitational on September 24. They will then travel to Dahlonega, GA to take part in the LeeAnn Noble Memorial on October 14 and 15. The Warriors will then conclude their fall season at the Jekyll-O-Lantern Intercollegiate on October 28-29.
