Dahlonega, GA – Southern Wesleyan finished the North Georgia Invitational in third place as a team after playing three rounds of golf. The team set a new school record in a single round as they finished the second round with a total team score of 281. The Warriors continued to impress during the tournament as over 54 holes they hit a school record of -11 under par with five consecutive under par rounds.

How It Happened
Junior Eric Shea led the Warriors in their team third place finish at the North Georgia Fall Invitational. Shea shot a 66 and 72 during the first two rounds of the tournament. He finished up the third round with a 71 to give him a 209 total round score. His score allowed him to finish in a tie for fifth.
Noah Mullens and Nick Howell followed Shea in the tournament, finishing in a tie for 30th place. Mullens shot a 75, 68 and 73 during his rounds of play to give him a 216 total round score. Howell shot a 76, 68 and 72 during his rounds to finish with a 216 total round score.
Following them, Carter Rains finished in a tie for 40th place. Rains shot a 74 and 73 during rounds one and two on the first day of the tournament. He then shot a 72 in the final round of competition to give him a 219 total round score. Jiras Singnoi wrapped up the field for the Warriors. He finished in a tie for 51st place after shooting a 70, 80 and 72 in the tournament to give him a total round score of 222.
Southern Wesleyan will conclude their fall season at the Miami Intercollegiate on October 21-22.
