Central, S.C. - Southern Wesleyan's Women's Golf team has signed one during the early signee period in November.  Kaylia McIntyre, a native of Bluffton, SC, signed to join the Warriors Women's Golf team in the upcoming 2018-19 campaign.

"I am very excited to have Kaylia joining us next fall," commented Head Golf Coach, Joey Maxon.  "She is an outstanding student, a great athlete, and has the potential become an amazing golfer here at Southern Wesleyan.  I am looking forward to the positive impact she will have on our team and University."

McIntyre has played on the Bluffton High School golf team during her high school career.  During her time on the team, they have been the runner-ups in the SCHSL class AAA stat championship for two consecutive years.  During her time playing, McIntyre's lowest score for 18 holes was a 77.  In her spare time, she enjoys traveling and languages.  She is currently learning both French and Spanish.

"I am very excited to be able to compete in an environment that will help me develop further as a golfer," stated McIntyre on signing.  "I'm excited to play for Coach Maxon, who is a great golfer in his own right, and to be a part of the Southern Wesleyan women's golf team."

McIntyre will join the Warriors for her freshman season in August of 2018.
