Warriors Fall On Rainy Saturday

Central, SC – Warriors fall to Indians on rainy Saturday action in an 11-0 final.  Game two called due to rain.

Southern Wesleyan posted four hits in the game one loss.  Becca White tripled and Kassidy Hamrick had a sacrifice bunt.  Four Warriors walked during the game, and Megan New and Makaila Irby both had stolen bases.  Hunter Hoskins started the game for the Warriors and pitched 4.1 innings while striking out one batter.

How It Happened

Game One

Catawba struck early with two runs in the top of the second.  They increased their lead to 8-0 in the top of the fourth and won the game in the top of the 5th in an 11-0 final score.

Game Two

In the third inning, the game was called due to rain. 


What's Next

Southern Wesleyan will next play on Monday, March 12 at home against the Mississippi University for Women at 4 and 6 p.m.  They will then take on Drury on March 13.
